61.Rejection is Redirection

“Rejection is merely a redirection; a course correction to your destiny.”
… Bryant McGill

A story by MD

It was a campus placement drive at college.
Few eligible students were being shortlisted for the interview.

Interviewer: Why are you here today?
Student: For an interview, Sir.
Interviewer: But we are not in a mood to take your interview.
Student: Why Sir?
Interviewer: You have no right to ask us why.
Student: Okay Sir, no problem.
Can I help you with any other things?
Would you like to have tea, coffee or a college tour, let me know… I can do that for you
Interviewer: No
Student: Thank you, Sir. Have a wonderful day. And if you need any help, please call me.

After a week, he got an offer letter.
His patience and capacity to accept rejection and move forward, got him selected.

Every rejection, every failure, and every letdown is a chance to improve, regroup.

Try again for opportunities that are even better fit for us than the ones that did not work out in the first place.
