13. Prepare for Success

“Before anything else, preparation is the key to success.”

… Alexander Graham Bell

A note : Are you prepared by Darren

Before you hit the big free throw to win the championship, you need to hit thousands of them in practice over many years.

Before you give that big speech in front of hundreds, you need to give dozens of much smaller speeches in front of a handful of people.

Before you prepare a wedding feast for a huge crowd, you need to cook a range of meals for much smaller, less pressured events.

We see the end result and marvel.

The greats make it look so easy that we assume we can do it as well.

And you can too, If you are prepared to work hard, relentlessly, for many years, when no-one is looking.

If you expect to hit that shot, give that speech or prepare that feast, prepare yourself beforehand.

I can assure you that if you have prepared well, the end will be well.

Learning:

Success is where preparation and opportunity meet.
